Owner Rochelle Byles was fed up with the choices available to her when she was pregnant-buying new seemed crazy when babies use items for such a short time and the only option to buy second hand was online, which was far too risky for the little bundle-you never knew what you were getting.

With a desire to be able to throughly inspect goods before purchasing second hand and knowing that Coventry did not have a shop advising on washable nappies, Pootle was born.
